Conway Regional’s Labor and Delivery team has received national recognition through the Willow Award: Excellence in End-of-Life Care, honoring the compassionate care provided to Lauren and Bradley Brogdon and their son, August.
Lauren and Bradley nominated the team for the award in recognition of the care, dignity, and kindness their family received during an immeasurably difficult time.
In their nomination, the Brogdons shared that Conway Regional caregivers treated August with profound respect and compassion, creating a peaceful environment where they could spend meaningful time together as a family and make lasting memories with their son.
They also expressed their gratitude for the entire care team, including Keitha Holland, MD, whose guidance and compassion provided invaluable support throughout their journey.
The Willow Award: Excellence in End-of-Life Care is a national recognition program honoring caregivers who provide exceptional end-of-life care and support to patients and families. The award recognizes caregivers across a variety of professions who demonstrate comfort, dignity, grace, and compassion during some of life’s most difficult moments.
The Brogdon family’s nomination serves as a powerful reminder that highly intentional, compassionate care extends beyond medical treatment. It is also found in the quiet moments, the time given to families, and the dignity and kindness shown when they need it most.
