Lung Diseases

Conway Regional Health System provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for lung diseases through the Conway Regional Multispecialty Clinic. Our integrated approach brings together specialists in pulmonology, rheumatology, and dermatology to deliver coordinated care for patients with complex conditions affecting the lungs and respiratory system.

Pulmonology

Our board-certified pulmonary and critical care specialists diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic lung conditions, including:

  • Asthma

  • COPD

  • Interstitial lung disease

  • Pulmonary Fibrosis

  • Sleep Apnea

  • Pneumonia

  • Chronic cough

  • Bronchiectasis

  • Alpha 1 Antitrypsin deficiency

  • Lung nodules

We also offer advanced diagnostic procedures, including endobronchial ultrasound bronchoscopy (EBUS). This minimally invasive procedure helps physicians diagnose lung diseases, enlarged lymph nodes, infections, inflammatory conditions, and lung cancer while often avoiding more invasive surgery.

Respiratory Therapy

Our licensed respiratory therapists provide specialized care for patients of all ages with breathing and lung conditions. Working alongside physicians and nurses, they help evaluate, treat, and monitor patients throughout the hospital and in outpatient settings.

Respiratory therapists provide:

  • Breathing treatments

  • Pulmonary function testing

  • Arterial blood gas testing

  • Oxygen therapy

  • Mechanical ventilator management

  • Respiratory care for emergency and intensive care patients

  • Support during pulmonary procedures, including lung biopsies

  • Electrocardiogram (EKG) testing

  • Post-surgical respiratory care

  • Specialized respiratory care for newborns in the NICU

Respiratory therapy services are available for both inpatient and outpatient care, helping patients improve breathing, manage chronic lung disease, and recover from illness or surgery.
