Will DenHartog, RN, has been awarded Conway Regional's latest DAISY Award for the passion and commitment he demonstrates for his patients. Will serves as the charge nurse in the Critical Care Unit and has worked at Conway Regional for more than 5 years.

The coworker who nominated Will wrote, "Recently, our coworker's grandmother had a significant event at an outlying hospital, and that hospital had no bed for her. Will discovered that the grandmother would be transported to Northwest Arkansas, making it very difficult for the family to be with her. Will was able to get his coworker's grandmother a bed at Conway Regional to have her family with her. The family was very appreciative of the opportunity to be with her before passing."

Will recently cared for a patient whose sister lived in Forest City and drove daily to be with her. Will secured a guest house for the patient's sister so she would be closer and not have to travel far to see her sister while she received care at Conway Regional.
