UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage FAQ
Since 2021, federal law has required hospitals to publicly disclose their standard prices and negotiated discounts for common health services. This aims to encourage consumers to compare prices and promote competition. This rule also allows hospitals to know the rates other hospitals receive from insurance providers, which is a new development.
Despite Conway Regional's longstanding commitment to serving the community, United Healthcare is currently paying our closest competitor nearly 50% more for the same care. This significant difference in reimbursement is hard to justify for Conway Regional and our 2,000 employees.
If you have an appointment/procedure with an affected provider after the termination date, you can check the table below to see how the agreement will apply to you. This list is not all-inclusive.
If you would like to change providers to receive in-network coverage, please contact UHC at 501-664-7700 to learn what providers are still in-network for you.
