UnitedHealthcare Commercial Plan Updates
Conway Regional Health System is currently in contract negotiations with UnitedHealthcare regarding their Commercial plan.
At Conway Regional, we believe our community deserves clear and honest communication. We are sharing this update so you understand where things stand and what it could mean for your care.
If a new agreement is not reached, Conway Regional Health System and our affiliated providers may be out of network for UnitedHealthcare plans beginning August 15, 2026.

Why This Is Happening
In January 2026, Conway Regional provided UnitedHealthcare with formal notice as part of the standard contract process, allowing time to reach a new agreement before the August 15 deadline.
Since then, we have made every effort to reach a fair agreement that reflects the cost of providing care in our region.
At our first meeting, we presented a proposal based on what other providers in our market are paid, using UnitedHealthcare’s own publicly reported data. Since then, there have been three meetings and one cancellation.
Not only has UnitedHealthcare indicated reluctance to move toward market rates, but they have also suggested that Conway Regional consider a reduction in reimbursement.
That is not a sustainable path for a community health system.
Our goal is to reach a fair agreement and avoid any disruption to your care. We remain ready to have meaningful conversations, but we also believe our community deserves transparency when delays or proposed reductions could impact access to care.
