Arkansas Duck Derby Raises Record-Breaking $692,807 for Conway Regional Health System
The Conway Regional Health Foundation celebrated another successful year of fundraising at the 7th Annual Arkansas Duck Derby, raising more than $692,807 to advance community health and support key initiatives across the region.
“The Arkansas Duck Debry continues to play a vital role in strengthening our ability to deliver care that is both highly intentional and refreshingly personal,” said Matt Troup, President and CEO of Conway Regional Health System. “Each year, this event grows in its reach and in its impact. We are deeply grateful to every participant, sponsor, and volunteer whose support allows us to advance meaningful initiatives that improve lives and expand future care in our community.”
This year’s Duck Derby began with a morning hunt on Friday, January 9, where 37 registered teams harvested 248 ducks. The Cromwell Architects team took home first place, hosted by Jimmy Walls at Double Drake Hunting Club in Des Arc. Each team was randomly paired with landowners across central Arkansas, who hosted hunts on their properties or duck clubs.
The Duck Derby Banquet was held that evening, bringing participants, sponsors, and supporters together for live and silent auctions, raffles for men and women, food, and entertainment by Jason & Robby. This year’s 50/50 raffle had a pot totaling $33,250, with the winner taking home half, and the other half donated to the health foundation.
Proceeds from the Arkansas Duck Derby will benefit Conway Regional community health initiatives. Proceeds from past duck derbies have gone toward constructing an Adult Psychiatric Unit at Conway Regional Medical Center, a mobile health unit, and medical fitness program scholarships.
