Supporting the Future of Healthcare in Central Arkansas
Conway Regional is proud to support the future of healthcare in our region with a $25,000 donation to the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton’s new Nursing and Science Center
“Investing in nursing education is an investment in the future of healthcare for our region,” said Matt Troup, President and CEO of Conway Regional Health System. “Our long-standing partnership with UACCM reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the healthcare workforce across central Arkansas. By supporting the new Nursing and Science Center, we are continuing to invest in partnerships and facilities that build a strong pipeline of skilled, local talent prepared to care for our communities. When students are able to train close to home and pursue meaningful careers here, it strengthens access to high-quality care and benefits the entire region.”
The gift will enhance the Nursing and Science Center’s student lounge, creating a dedicated space where nursing and science students can study, collaborate, and prepare for clinical practice. Designed to complement the facility’s advanced classrooms and simulation areas, the lounge supports academic focus, peer connection, and student success.
"We are so grateful for this incredibly generous gift. It helps provide UACCM with the opportunity to offer state-of-the-art training for our nursing students. These graduates will be well-qualified to meet the demand for essential healthcare workers,” said Lauren Bryan, UACCM Development Officer. “Conway Regional has been a long-time consistent supporter of UACCM, providing nursing scholarships, in-kind clinical rotations, ALIGN grant support, and other initiatives. We hope that Conway Regional sees a significant return on investment as many of our students become part of their exceptional team of healthcare employees in the future."
