Women’s Director Receives HIVE Award for Her Compassion
Michelle Pimentel, RN, said, “This is an enormous honor. You are my why. This hospital is very special. The leadership is always willing to listen.”
Michelle Pimentel, RN, director of Women’s and Infants Services at Conway Regional, has received the HIVE (Helping Influence Valuable Employees) award for the compassion, independence, and openness that she shows to the managers and employees in her department.
“I have witnessed Michelle stop in her tracks to comfort a coworker who is struggling. She sits quietly and listens to them talk. No judgment, no opinions, or unwanted advice,” her nomination read. “Her passion for our unit runs deep.”
Responding to the group of staff and leaders who presented the award, Michelle said, “This is an enormous honor. You are my why. This hospital is very special. The leadership is always willing to listen.”
Modeled after the international DAISY program, the HIVE award was established at Conway Regional in 2025 to recognize individual leaders for inspiring their employees.
