Antibody Infusion Therapy being offered at DRMC

The goal of this therapy is to help prevent hospitalizations, reduce viral loads, and lessen symptom severity. In November of 2020, the FDA approved use of monoclonal antibody therapy under an emergency use authorization to treat COVID-19 patients.


Dardanelle Regional Medical Center is offering monoclonal antibody infusion therapy for individuals who have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and are at high risk for developing severe illness.

The goal of this therapy is to help prevent hospitalizations, reduce viral loads, and lessen symptom severity. In November of 2020, the FDA approved use of monoclonal antibody therapy under an emergency use authorization to treat COVID-19 patients.

The infusions require an hour to administer, and each patient is monitored for an additional hour on site.

A provider’s order is required and anyone considering monoclonal antibody infusion therapy should discuss their eligibility with a provider who is aware of their medical conditions and history. Anyone who needs a provider can call 479-229-6191 for more information.
