Conway Regional Recognized as a Top Performer in Five Quality Measures

Conway Regional Health System has been recognized by Medisolv as a Top Performer for the first quarter of 2026 in five important measures of patient care and safety.

These recognitions reflect the work of physicians, nurses, registered dietitians, pharmacists, and many other healthcare professionals who work together every day to provide high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.

Identifying and Treating Malnutrition

Proper nutrition plays an important role in healing. Conway Regional was recognized for identifying hospitalized patients at risk of malnutrition and providing timely nutrition care to improve recovery, reduce complications, and lower the risk of readmission.

Preventing Serious Childbirth Complications

Conway Regional earned recognition for helping prevent severe complications related to bleeding during and after childbirth. This measure reflects the team's ability to quickly identify and respond to emergencies, helping keep mothers safe during delivery.

Preventing Severe Low Blood Sugar

Low blood sugar can become dangerous if it isn't recognized and treated quickly. Conway Regional was recognized for closely monitoring patients and responding early to help prevent severe hypoglycemic events during hospitalization.

Reducing the Risk of Blood Clots in Patients with Atrial Fibrillation

Patients with atrial fibrillation (A-fib) have a higher risk of developing blood clots that can lead to stroke. This recognition reflects Conway Regional's commitment to ensuring eligible patients receive the appropriate blood-thinning medications to reduce that risk.

Helping Prevent Future Strokes After Discharge

Recovery doesn't end when a patient leaves the hospital. Conway Regional was also recognized for ensuring eligible patients are discharged with medications that help prevent future strokes and blood clots, supporting safer recoveries and better long-term health.

Every quality measure represents our team working together to deliver safer, more effective care. These recognitions highlight Conway Regional's continued commitment to improving patient outcomes and providing care that is highly intentional, refreshingly personal, and centered on the needs of our community.
