Boot Camp, a weight management program, is offered several times throughout the year. Boot Camp challenges participants through discipline and hard work in a creative military type atmosphere that is geared towards improving one's health! This program is open to members and non-members, 15 and older.
Boot Camp, offers small group sessions of 8-15 people allowing you to pick who you train with and when! Be ready for the 30 minute, power-packed workouts!
In addition to workouts, Boot Camp offers the opportunity to participate in the Weight Management Support Group for a complete health and fitness program.
To enlist in Boot Camp, you MUST be able to:
- Run/jog 2 laps in the gym area without stopping
- Perform a minimum or 10 pushups (on knees or toes)
- Perform squats
- Perform lunges
- Hold a plank for a minimum of 30 seconds (full arm or elbow/knee or toes)
If you are unable to perform any of the above requirements (on the honor system) this program may not be for you. You may consider personal training or a variety of group exercise classes.
