The annual Kitchen Store & More Holiday Preview will be held from 7 to 9 pm Thursday, October 24 at the store located at 704 Locust Street in downtown Conway.
The store will be decorated for the holidays and will provide shoppers with an opportunity to buy gifts to support the Conway Regional Medical Center Perinatal Bereavement Program. The Kitchen Store donates 100 percent of gross sales from the festive shopping event to the Conway Regional Health Foundation to help fund the program.
The event also includes a raffle for three different baskets, a Get Fit, Get Healthy valued at $750, a Kitchen Bonanza valued at $650 and a Let’s Party valued at $550. Tickets are $2 and can be purchased at The Kitchen Store or from preview host couples.
Hosts of the event include: Bryan and Jenifer Cook, Dr. Tim and Mary Freyaldenhoven, Victor and Charlotte Green, Don and Angela Greenland, Dr. Phillip and Kim Gullic, Wes and Dr. Keitha Holland, Dr. Greg and Jenifer Kendrick, Clay and Kati Leigh, Gene and Susan Salter, Randy and Pam Sims, and Dr. Josh and Brandy Ward.
The event raised more than $16,000 last year.
Based out of the hospital’s Women’s Center, the Perinatal Bereavement program is designed to address families’ needs after the loss of an infant during pregnancy or immediately after being born. The staff provides supportive care in the hospital as well as follow-up care after loss. The event is hosted by Kitchen Store owner Jeanne Smyers and her daughter Tricia O'Connor, manager of The Kitchen Store & More.
