The Mayflower Medical Clinic is scheduled to return to its location at 587 Highway 65 on Monday, April 22.
Blair Greenwood, MD, and the staff will resume seeing patients at the Mayflower location on Monday. The clinic temporarily relocated to Conway Medical Group due to fumes from the Exxon Mobile oil spill on March 29. The clinic was relocated due to the likelihood of the oil fumes aggravating patients whose medical conditions make them sensitive to odor.
“I would like to thank everyone for their patience and willingness to visit Dr. Greenwood and the staff while they were in Conway,” said Angie Huselton, Director of Physician Services for Conway Regional Health System, which owns the clinic. “We are also very grateful to the physicians and staff at Conway Medical Group for the sacrifices they have made to accommodate the Mayflower clinic.”
She added, “Our goal throughout this process has been to keep clinic operations as normal as possible. We are thankful to be able to return the clinic to Mayflower.” The Mayflower Medical Clinic is the only clinic located in Mayflower.
Patients with appointments were notified this week that the clinic would return. Patients who have additional questions about their appointments can call the regular clinic number at 501-470-7413. Relocation of the clinic was made possible thanks to the use of electronic medical records that can be accessed securely by the clinic staff.
