CONWAY-(May 5, 2011)-Jacquelyn Wilkerson, RN, BSN, MBA, has been selected as Vice President of Nursing/Chief Nursing Officer at Conway Regional Health System.
Jacquelyn has been serving as Interim Vice President of Nursing/CNO since the end of December and, prior to December, served as the Director of Conway Regional’s Women’s and Infant’s Services since 2006. She also stepped in for six months last year as Interim Director of the Surgical Services.
Before joining Conway Regional, she was the Director of Cardiology/Progressive Care at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR.
“I care about the future of nursing at Conway Regional, and I am excited about the many wonderful initiatives that we have going on in our system,” she said. “It is my responsibility to help our nursing services continue to excel at providing excellent care.”
As chief nursing officer, Mrs. Wilkerson is responsible for a nursing staff of 628 licensed and unlicensed employees.
“I am very pleased about Jacquelyn becoming a permanent member of Conway Regional’s Executive Leadership Team,” said Jim Lambert, President and CEO.
“She has proven she is capable of taking on this increased level of responsibility and, with her knowledge of the organization and background, she will be able to seamlessly transition fully into her permanent role.”
Mrs. Wilkerson has a bachelor’s degree in business education from Harding University, a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Memphis and a master’s degree in business in health administration. She is a graduate of Pangburn High School.
