Information regarding Swine flu and influenza, do you know the signs and symptoms?
Flu signs and symptoms usually include two or more of the following:
  • High Fever
  • Chills
  • Fatigue
  • Sore Throat
  • Diarrhea
  • Cough
  • Vomiting
  • Body aches
  • If you think you have seasonal flu or H1N1 (swine) flu:

  • Call your family doctor for guidance
  • Limit your contact with other people and stay home as much as possible
  • Do not go to work or school if you are ill
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue and wash your hand afterwards
  • Wash hands or use hand gel frequently
  • Put used tissues in the waste basket
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth to prevent spreading virus
  • Avoid close contact with sick people. Droplets carry about 3 feet
  • Signs for Alarm that require immediate medical attention may include:

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen
  • Sudden dizziness
  • Confusion
  • Severe or persistent vomiting
