Tribute Tree 2009 The 2009 Tribute Tree was lit Tuesday, December 8th, by the family of the late Jon Scott McMahan. The tree will remain lit throughout the holiday season. The list of the 2009 honorees are on the website and displayed in the hospital's east lobby. Names are updated regularly as new contributions are received. Lighting the Way...During the holiday season, honor or remember someone you love through your support of The Tribute Tree. The red and white lights, ornaments, angels, and more, all pay special tribute to your friends, family and others who have touched your life - a special nurse, doctor, teacher or an 'angel' in disguise. The Tree is lit each year in early December and remains lit throughout the holiday season.
Your gracious donation... Donations to the 2009 Tribute Tree will benefit the Conway Regional Health Foundation scholarship funds to assist area students pursuing a career in a health-related field. The Foundation currently administers ten scholarship funds. These scholarships are funded entirely by contributions from the medical staff, board, employees and the community. Since inception in 1996, the Foundation has awarded more than $110,000 to area students. These scholarships have helped train many bright young minds - our future doctors, nurses, radiologists and more.
Give the gift that keeps on giving... New in 2005, a $2,500 one-time gift establishes an Endowed Light on The Tribute Tree in honor or remembrance of the person you choose. Each year during the holiday season, your friend or loved one will be remembered on The Tribute Tree. Each year, the Foundation will also send a personalized card to the person you designate to remind your friend or loved one of your thoughtfulness. It is the one gift that keeps on giving year after year.
