Honor & Memorial Gifts
A gift "in honor of" or "in memory of" a loved one is a wonderful way to remember a close friend or family member or to commemorate a special event in their lives such as a birthday, a wedding, an anniversary or graduation. When a loved one passes away, many families request donations be made to Conway Regional "in lieu of flowers". The Foundation sends an acknowledgement card to the honoree or family designated. During the holiday season, honor and memorial gifts may be made through the Tribute Tree campaign by purchasing a light for someone special.
You can leave a legacy for generations to come by making a planned gift, no matter how small. Our new planned giving section illustrates a number of ways you can partner with us for the future. In some cases, gifts are revocable - you can change your mind - and the gift would be made by your will after death. Other planned gifts can provide an income for life as well as current tax benefits. Take a look at stories of donors who have made planned gifts and how it helped their finances and brought them immeasurable joy as well.
Many businesses choose to support the Foundation by sponsoring one of our events. Sponsorships help raise money for the hospital and provide excellent visibility for your business.
Gifts of Stock
A donation of appreciated securities is an excellent way to support the Foundation and take advantage of tax savings all at the same time. For securities owned more than one year, the charitable income deduction is based on the fair market value of the securities transferred, not the cost basis. Capital gains taxes can also be reduced or avoided.
Gifts of Life Insurance
Donors can give the Foundation an existing paid policy or name the Foundation as a full or partial beneficiary in a new or existing policy. Tax deduction rules vary depending upon the nature of the gift.
